Highfield Studio is a newly established company, set in the heart of rural Essex. We are a young, but dedicated team, and are trying to offer as many different multimedia services as we can under the one banner.

One our main aims is to cater for those on all budgets. Although we have it in our arsenal to produce some very advanced products, we are always trying to make simpler packages available to those who are looking for a no frills approach to their promotion.

Recording services

Here at Highfield Studio, our aim is give our recording artists 110% of our effort, regardless of whether they are a school rock band in for a two song demo, or a touring classical group recording an album. We always aim to get the best and most professional sound we can for you, no matter what the budget.

The Recording Studio

The studio itself comprises of two main rooms: the Live Room, and the Control Room.

The live room is a large square space where all performing musicians would play. After seeking professional advice, it has been acoustically treated to give a beautifully tight, uncoloured sound, whatever the instrument. The room is air-conditioned, and contains floor-standing lamps with red bulbs to create atmosphere. There are also 4 surge protected electrical outlets on each wall to allow for the plugging in of multiple amps & other equipment.

Backing Tracks

One of the services we offer here at Highfield Studio is that of making backing tracks. When consulting with gigging musicians and educational establishments, both expressed the annoyance that good backing tracks are very hard to come by. One comment that came up regularly was that even if you do find the song, you can't hear it until you buy it, and that you normally have to buy a whole CD full of songs to just get the one that you want

New to Highfield Studios is drum lessons and guitar lessons. This expands the availabilty of options that Highfields has to offer. All drum lessons will be taught on a one on one basis by Elliot and guitar lessons by Steve Rolls.

Elliot has been drumming nearly all his life and is one of the best in the game. He has a grade 8 in drumming so knows the exact steps to take when teaching. All teaching will be held within Highfields Studio. Drum lessons cost £15 per hour.
