Boasting all new acoustic design throughout, the refurbishment is highlighted by the new 300 sq ft daylit live room, a separate recording room/booth, and larger control room with the space for artists to relax. |

Here at Highfield Studio, our aim is give our recording
artists 110% of our effort, regardless of whether they are
a school rock band in for a two song demo, or a touring classical
group recording an album. We always aim to get the best and
most professional sound we can for you, no matter what the
budget.

The Recording Studio |
|
The studio itself comprises of three main rooms: the Live
Room, the Control Room and the Dead Room. |
|
The live room has to be heard to be fully appreciated, and features bespoke design aspects unlike anything you've seen. The sound is that of the big drum sound, and natural, lively acoustics. Great for everything from heaving drums to ambient live performances, the space is perfect for those who want to hear that "big studio" room sound on their recordings, but not at London prices.

Rehearsals |
|
Due to our recent expansion, Highfield Studio is now pleased to offer rehearsal facilities. Although designed as a recording space, the new live room offers a dynamic, inspiring sound for you to create and hone your music. The room offers panoramic views of the local countryside, and is also fully air conditioned / heated to suit your needs all year round. |

| Tuition |
|
Highfield Studios offer one on one tuition, offering drum lessons, guitar lessons and newly added production lessons.
|
|
The drum lessons are taught on the studio's Yamaha Stage Custom kit. If required we also offer intensive courses of 10 hours over 5 days, which is ideal for school holidays. Alternatively you could purchase a gift voucher for a drum lesson.

| If you are interested in guitar lessons, Highfield Studio have paired up with some of the best local instructors. Steve Rolls is based in Braintree town, lessons are held at his home for £18 per hour, please feel free to call if you have any questions. |

| New to Highfield Studio are production courses, instructed by house engineer Warren Woodcraft and house producer Elliot Richardson, we aim to teach people of all ages how to Record, Mix, Produce and Write songs in a studio environment. Covering everything from microphone techniques, to basic understanding of studio equipment. There is no better place to learn than a recording facility |
